I知 tired of pretending
That everything is okay
Just to please you.
Why should I care about you?
When clearly I mean nothing.
I thought I could count on you
Because you knew you could count on me.
Too many things have been said and done
To ever make things feel like yesterday
In my hour of hurt and need
All you can do is laugh and mock me.
I知 sick of you never taking credit
For all the bad you do.
Acting all pretentious
And making me look like a fool.
You can pretend all you want
That things are okay
But all I want is for you to go away.
I致e been hurt by you for the last time
I知 done being your puppet
For now all I have to say is
Bitter Goodbye.

So I decided to upload my poem entitled Bitter Goodbye as you can see. It was written on Sunday and I have decided now is a good time to post as well as having it already been requested that I post it.
Don't be too critical on it, as I am new to the whole poetry thing. This was just a way to vent my feelings and get an easy completion mark at school. I'm actually strangely proud of it and I hope you can enjoy reading it. |
