I haven't been very active on here the past couple months, it's actually been almost 2 months since I posted anything on here, including a journal.
To be quite honest, I haven't been into my art as much as I have my music. I'm finding it rather difficult to come up with ideas that are to my satisfaction.
I've just finished a poem for my Writer's Craft class, but I'm toying if I should post it or not. It deals with something that upon reading it anyone who knows anything about me will quickly realize why I'm debating putting it up.
Right now, my main inspiration is coming from a song by Aerosmith you may have heard of-Dream On. How I love that song. Anyway I thought I would quote it: All the things you do come back to you. How true that is I think. I want to eventually do a painting inspired by Dream On but I need to find the time.

I'm not going to be able to post alot. I'm working on a lot of new things and hoping to work with new mediums. My current projects that are in the works is one on society's fear and the other is me and my space which involves my love of film. Both big projects but if i work on the over the weekend, I will try and take some pics.

My goal for this year is to show versatility with the different mediums and subject matter so I guess you could say that the 2 current themes are fears and dreams.

I'm working on some writing that I may or may not post. I'm still debating on that. So you will either be pleasantly surprised or unsurprised.

so i haven't written in a while. i guess the big thing for me right now is sixx more days until the route of all evil tour. im excited. i got me new boots that i plan on wearing too. im a nerd i know.

stephen colbert beat manillow at the emmy's. he called that win therefore he beat manillow.

yes so as some of you know, i got my hair done on sunday. i styled it like nikki sixx from motley crue (like you didn't already know that). but instead of all black, i got red and blond in it too. im at work so i haven't had a chance to style it like his, but as soon as i do, i'll take a pic and possibly post as a new id.
last day of work today. then 3 days off before school. how sad.
the colbert report didn't win at the emmys. i was sad. i like him better than jon stewart. conan is pretty funny too. i give them a tie.

i haven't written in over a month so i thought i would. 2 weeks til school, hell someone had to say it. i was annoyed for a while but now i don't care one way or the other. art twice in one semester so im happy. should be a less stress year.
getting my hair dyed and cut sometime before school starts. it will be in the style in which i call "the sixx" because he's like the only other person i've seen lately with it. can you tell im tired? anyway it will have blond and red highlights to go with the black just for something different...
...speaking of sixx, motley/aero show on oct. 2nd. im excited. haven't gotten any tickets yet, but as of friday i have enough money for any seat i want that is available. not sold yet which is good for me. haha
im starting to do some cartoons but they aren't that great. only nicki (silvercloud72) has seen them. not sure how to describe it other than tim burton-esque meets nikki sixx because that is who i am drawing right now. i'll upload within the coming days if i get around to it.
